STREATOR — Attorney Jennifer Bunker Skerston has been named a partner in the law firm of Reilly Law Office LLC. As a result of this partnership, the name of the firm will now be law offices of Reilly & Skerston LLC.
James T. Reilly founded Reilly Law Office LLC in 2006, and the practice has focused on civil and criminal litigation, Social Security disability and family law. Since joining the firm as an associate in 2017, Skerston has added estate planning and administration to the firm’s areas of practice.

Skerston is a native of Oglesby, and has practiced in both private and public sectors over the past 10 years. She is actively involved in the Illinois State Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section Council and serves as the co-editor of the council’s monthly publication distributed to attorneys throughout Illinois.
She also assists the council in providing continuing legal education to attorneys, determining the need for new legislation, and reviewing and suggesting changes to current legislative proposals affecting wills, trusts and estates.
She has developed and drafted will and trust-based estate plans and administered probate and trust estates. Skerston has taught an advanced Master of Laws (LL.M) class at The John Marshall Law School in Estate Planning and Tax Law.
Skerston has been recognized as an Outstanding Young Leader by the Streator Area Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the “40 Under Forty” class for Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall and Putnam counties, and has recently been named an Illinois Rising Stars Super Lawyer in the area of family law. These three recognitions are based on nominations by her peers.
