LASALLE — “Serve it Safely,” a two-hour class that provides research-based education from the University of Illinois Extension, will be offered from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Extension Education Center and Community Teaching Kitchen at 944 First St. in LaSalle.
By attending, each participant will receive the knowledge of how to serve food safely to the public, a packet of resource materials and a certificate of completion. The class will be led by Susan Glassman, nutrition and wellness educator for the University of Illinois Extension.
