• At 4:03 p.m. on June 23, deputies performed a traffic stop at Route 6 and Lewis Street in Marseilles. As a result, David Krueger, 19, of Spring Valley was cited for speeding 72 mph in a 40-mph zone.
• At 7:15 p.m. on June 27, deputies investigated a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 251 and Pontiac Street in Tonica, in Eagle Township. A vehicle driven by Blake Lewis, 30, of Princeton, was turning left onto Route 251 and struck a southbound vehicle driven by Kelly Cashmer, 45, of Streator. There were no injuries or citations.
