2018 Marshall-Putnam-Stark Show Choir auditions

HENRY — The 2018 Marshall-Putnam-Stark Show Choir will be kicking off its 37th season with auditions at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 24, and 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26. The group is opened to students 14 to 22 year of age. If you are turning 14 during the summer, you may try out. The auditions will be held at Henry-Senachwine High School on Route 29 in Henry.

Nothing needs to be prepared as a song and dance will be taught to you to perform for your audition.

This group has had more than 750 performers in its ranks since 1982 when the group began. Since its conception it has performed at the Marshall-Putnam Fair, Illinois State Fair and Bureau County Fair, 1986 World’s Fair and many other community celebrations and fairs all over Central Illinois.

This summer is no different as performance dates are have already been arranged for two county fairs, the first three days of the Illinois State Fair, not to mentioned many other shows in the Central Illinois area making this an exciting performance packed season,

Looking for a venue for you to perform and really get some stage time? The M-P-S Show Choir can make this a summer to remember and enjoy. This group is for talented performers who really want to have their performance skills grow and show them off to audiences everywhere.

There is no fee or charge to be in the M-P-S Show Choir and the experience is priceless.
