OGLESBY — University of Illinois Extension will offer 4-H teen teacher training Wednesday, May 30, and Thursday, May 31, at Illinois Valley Community College.
The training will offer youth ages 14 to 18 to gain the necessary training to be 4-H teen teachers during the Illinois Junior Chefs Cooking Schools this summer. Illinois Junior Chefs Cooking Schools will be held in the communities of Neponset, Buda, Spring Valley, DePue, Ottawa, LaSalle and Oglesby. 4-H teen teachers decide which camps they want to participate in. Incentives such as gift cards, certificates and T-shirts are provided.
