Marquis Energy marks 10th anniversary

HENNEPIN — Marquis Energy reaches a new milestone, celebrating its 10th year of producing clean-burning ethanol and its co-product distillers grains.

Since its launch in April 2008, Marquis Energy has grown into the largest dry-mill biofuels facility in the United States and has expanded to include a facility in Wisconsin.

Marquis Energy management and staff have made the company a leader in the ethanol fuel industry. Marquis products ship across the globe from their location on the Illinois River. Shipload quantities of more than 40,000 metric ton vessels travel to destinations such as Brazil, China, Israel, Philippines and Turkey.
