HENRY — The Marshall-Putnam Quilter's Guild will meet Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the Henry Presbyterian Church. The meeting will start at noon with a potluck; members are asked to bring a dish to share. Silverware and paper products will be provided.
After lunch, the group will meet at 1 p.m. with Karen Bailey, Judy Murphy and Sharon Read sharing ideas for quick Christmas gifts. Those who participated in the Mason Jar Block Exchange should bring their blocks to the meeting, as this is the day to exchange them.
The group's gift exchange will be held after the meeting. To participate, members need to bring a coffee mug with a quilted cozy on it, and have it wrapped in a gift bag. The game will be Quilter's Bingo. If you haven't yet made your "bingo card," there's still time. Directions are in the newsletter. Bring it along with 25 buttons for markers and two fat quarters for prizes. Members should also turn in their quilts for the Community Service collection.
