MENDOTA — NCI Works will be sponsoring its 14th annual Employer Conference at the Mendota Civic Center Oct. 27, beginning at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast and registration followed by a morning motivational speaker, Laurie Guest.
Guest will speak about what happens when a “guest” (customer, client, patron or patient) encounters your organization? What happens when the internal customer has an encounter with your department? Many business owners and managers feel they already have service under control. They believe additional training is not an issue. However, every encounter makes an impression.
Guest’s speech will be followed by lunch and NCI Works’ annual awards, recognizing those committed to the development of a quality workforce and those who have succeeded at reaching their goals.
The afternoon will feature an Employment Law Update with attorneys Sarah Gasperini and Melanie Steward from Jackson Lewis.
