LASALLE — Christian women of all ages are invited to attend a Ladies In Fellowship Together (LIFT) event at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at the Grace United Methodist Church.
The theme for the afternoon is “Victory in Jesus with Veggies.” Sara Fitzpatrick, assistant store chef at HyVee, will be the guest presenter, sharing a live cooking presentation. All women in the Illinois Valley area are encouraged to come take a relaxing break as they celebrate God’s bounty and learn about new ways to enjoy vegetables. The afternoon will include fellowship, fun and refreshments.
