Magnolia Township Preservation Association hosts luncheon

MAGNOLIA — The Magnolia Township Preservation Association will be serving a salad luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on June 24 in the community room of the museum building in Magnolia. Seating is limited, and tickets are required. Walk-ins are welcome. Carry-outs will be available. Tickets can be purchased from all board members and also from the curator, Peggy Smith.

The museum on the upper level will be open from 9 a.m. to noon. There will also be antique and modern quilts from area families and friends on display in the exhibit and community rooms.

Following the luncheon, a program titled, “Care of Historic Quilts, Patterns and Fabrics” will be presented by Karen Bailey at 1 p.m. At approximately 2 p.m. the drawing for a vintage rocker will be held.
