PERU — Jim Loveland, plant manager of Maze Nails in Peru, is the new president of the Illinois Valley Community Hospital Board.
A resident of Spring Valley, Loveland replaces Kris Paul as president of the IVCH Board. Paul, who remains a member of the board, was elected president in 2006. She is an Oglesby resident.
Loveland joined the IVCH Board in 2000. He had been serving as the board’s vice president. Jim Clinard is the new vice president. Other officers are secretary Dick Martuzzo and treasurer Dave Sickley. The election was held at the board’s October meeting.
“Kris did an outstanding job as president,” said Loveland. “The board owes her a debt of gratitude for her hard work for the hospital over the past decade.”
Other members of the IVCH Board include Joe Hogan, Cindy Kurkowski, Dr. Joel Leifheit, Dr. Mike Rooney and Bill Vlastnik.
