OGLESBY — Candidates for the Illinois Valley Community College Board of Trustees election on April 7 can now start circulating petitions. Opening day of circulation for the two, six-year terms was Sept. 23.
Petitions must be filed in the president’s office, Room C-301, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. from Dec. 15 to 19 or 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 22.
The last day to file an objection to any nominating petition is Dec. 30.
IVCC will be closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 1; anyone wishing to file an objection during that time can contact Jeanne Hayden, secretary to the board, at jeanne_hayden@ivcc.edu and set up a time.
